Looking for ideas on how to fix my bow light pole

It is a three prong light since it has a task light option on it. Here's the thing. I believe the holes have worn a bit and the opening is a hair wider than it should be on all of them. If I wedge the light pole just right and lock it in, the light will come on. Kind of a pain but a new light is 40+ bucks. If there is a way to fix it I'd like to try it. I'm open to suggestions.

I would try and put a drop of solder in each terminal. I have done something like this before for a lose fit connection. Hope this will help ya.

I like this idea. I'll try it this week and let you know how it goes. I know eventually I am going to have to buy a new light but I just bought a bunch of stuff so I'd like to hold off as long as possible :P

What I have done to mine is take a sharp pick and on the bottom of the pole bend the female metal contact in just a tad. Or take the male part and bend a tad sideways to make a better contact.

If you look down in the socket of the boat (male end), the probes are split. Take a small blade screwdriver and spread them a little. I would also add a dab of dielictric grease to the connection. <*)}}}><

Thanks for the additional advice guys. These probes actually aren't split. I may try to bend them a bit and see if that works but I am hesitant to do so since they are housed in plastic.
