Lake Conway report

My buddy and I fished the Arts pond area yesterday caught 20 keepers a mix of Gills and redear. We did not see much bed activity and would catch a couple out of a good spot then we would move on down the bank. we were using small jigs tipped with chart. crappie nibble. We only saw two boats on the water and landing only had 5 trailers in it. I was at Bates today man said he had found a huge bed of big red ear for some reason he was not very forthtelling where they were sleeping. Lake was windy and rollin today.

im about ready to go find some good ole 'ears' ! its getting about time
