I'm new to all this structure scan,di,si yada yada yada and I've bought a lowrance touch 12 and was wandering what settings do i need to learn to adjust to get the best detailed screen

Contrast and pallet.

Sensititivty will help as well , sometimes you have to increase or decrease the sensitivity depending on the water conditions.

I'm surprised :yikesthat with your lack of knowledge of fish finders, you went out and bought the 'top-of-the-line' Lowrance units to learn on. I'm also surprised the retailer didn't instruct:dono you on the operation of it when you purchased it. To help you, I would suggest going to www.Lowrance.com , click on support, and view thier videos that relate to 'Touch' units. This will help you alot. <*)}}}><
