I took my 5yr old son Parker fishing yesterday on my boat for the first time. We didnt catch that many but having him tell me "Dad this was the best day ever" made up for the lack of fish!!! He has asked me about a thousand times when we are going again. Looks like I found me a new fishing partner!

Yep Mamaw and Papaw are about to bust in some new era fishermen and women this year. Took grandson out bank fishing last year and now at 5 he is ready for sealegs! got one at 6mo and another 3 and one girl looks like she is gonna drive her daddy to drinking! Then she will go fishing with papaw!:Rofl Nothing better than kids and fishing!

Awesome is an under statement, kids and fishing is what its all about. Catching fish is just an additive, glad you got to spend time on the water with your son. Wish mine didnt think he was to old to go out with dad.
Those days are great. They grow up so fast, my little fishing buddy is deployed. Maybe not so little now but he gets to come home this June.
