Lake Ouachita Help
Guys,
I have never fished this lake. Any DM coordinates or tips would be greatly appreciated. I have three daughters that eat crappie fillets like potato chips. They are alway very appreciative of the fish.
I fish Beaver all the time as well as Nimrod and the same presentations should work well I believe. It will be a blast either way.
I will return the favor when asked for the same on those two lakes.
Thank you and God Bless!

I know there are a bunch of Brush piles put out by the corp. they should be on AGFC website. AGFC GIS Mapper 2.0 At tyler bend campsite there are a couple piles across the channel. Look for the signs in the trees that will tell you where the piles are. As for bait, minnows and a more natural shad palstics presentation works best for me. Water is clear and fish are usually deeper. I think Fetmo and turkey somebody fish the O.

I was there a couple of weekends ago. I found them in the brush on the points about three feet deep. I was up in the Twin lakes area. It was muddied up; my best presentation was a white/chartruse Joker on a pink head. There are some flats up in the area might be worth spider rigging in.

What part of the lake are you going to

I was there about a week ago, and I was catching them in the backs of creeks on gradual sloping banks. Most of them were about 5-10 feet off the banks, in about 4-6 FOW, near points. I was in the area of Twin Creeks up to Mt Harbor. I was throwing Bobby Garland straight tail plastics on a 1/16 head. Best of luck.
