The Rez 4-13
I got a great surprise today. My wife is less than 2 weeks from having our 3rd(and last) child and has been having some trouble with early contractions so I have been with her every hour the last week. Well, this morning mom and dad surprised me with a visit here in Madison and dad pulled one of his boats with him. He has been talking about giving it to me because he is not able to fish by himself anymore, so he always fishes with his buddy. So today he gave it to me. He got here around 10 am and I asked my wife if we could take it for a spin on the rez while mom played with the girls and she rested and she agreed ;). We fished from 11-3 and ended up with 30 really nice fish. So glad I got to go 1 more time this spring because it was awesome. We caught fish in mostly 6-8 foot of water and on my hand tied jigs white head/chartruse body/tail.

Those are nice, especially for such a short time on the water. I know some guys who would have loved to have those today!

U just can't beat those kind of memories, and to top it off with a good cooler of slabs is awesome..
