They look good!!!!! On the horseheads/pony's?? can't tell if they're pony's(collar and barb) or horseheads (nothing). If plain horsehead I'd use less chenille to keep the the hook area clear for better hook-up and this one is my own personnal pet peeve get a razor blade and clear the wires coming from the swivel on each end it will help it spin better.

Looks good for your first. However like Fatman I think you should not go quite so far down the hook shank with chenille.

@fatman they are horseheads. Do y'all use medium or large chenille?

I use medium - but I've also used cactus chenille on them in larger size - as long as you don't overpower the spinner blade or crowd the hook you're usually good. But as before any powder gets inside the swivel you have to be really careful in freeing it.

You are off to a very good start, nice looking jigs. Fatman those are Road Runner heads as all of them have painted swivels but they do work well and I'm sure they have the barb.
They can be a pain to tie on and make look good and even but you did a good job with your chenille. While tying on the Road Runners with a barb a small chenille works well or just use a thread neck.
