Weather and the Spawn

How is this current weather pattern we are in, going to affect the spawn? The bite?

The cold weather will move it back. They won't spawn till the conditions and temps right. IMO You will still be able to catch fish , just look deeper.

X2, they wont be far from their beds though. Also, the cold front MAY push them to the bottom, but they are likely to be suspended too. I wouldn't be surprised to find them 2-4 feet deep in 10-15 FOW.

Btw, I fish a shallow lake, so deep is a relative term. They could be deeper on the deeper lakes.

How bout this? I've been catching them in bayous fishing less that a foot deep. in a little more than 18 inches of water. The bayou is at the deepest, 3 ft deep.
Will they go out to the center of it where it's the deepest and stay there or will they leave the bayou all together and return to the deeper parts of the lake?

Some years it can happen mulitiple times before the spawn is complete.:twocents

They won't be far...
We have been catching them in the cypress trees on Conway since February... The same trees everyone is saying "It's On" now..
