Had the best day in a long time...

At the bait shop yesterday morning prior to going slab busting, I overheard a young boy and his father talking about getting him a new pole, "i want one like yours daddy" said the 8-9 year old boy. Now, this young man already had a great father in my eyes for taking him on the water on such a great day. But to make his trip more special, I immediately handed the young man a brand new 10 ozark rod, "just like dads" come to find out. The young man and father were very appreciative needless to say.

I know y'all thought the post was going to be a post on super slabs and pics, but it's not always about the fish you catch. I would have had a great day either way after seeing the young mans expression when he took a hold of that rod!
