Torch's boat. Builder said there was too much hook and cant see how torch was even driving it. Gonna get it fixed and a few minor things concerning the live/bait wells.
Lots of builders use a bit of a hook to tame the front end of the boat. Keeps em from porpoising so bad, and beating your spine through your skull on a Mod V boat. :)

If you're looking for speed without porpoising, you can beat about 1/8" hook into the back of the boat to cure it. I haven't done it myself, but I know a few Bayou Meto boat racers who have.
