Hey guys. I have a question/problem. I.have a hb 957 hooked up to my terrova with universal sonar transducer. And i am getting interference. It will go from reading accurately to jumping all over the place. Andthen it will be fine again. I have it hooked up to interlink to a 997. I was wondering if.there was any specific settings i should have it on. Iv tried everything i could think of. Thanks guys
First: make sure that it is trolling motor interference.
Second: see if it happens when the trolling motor is running at its fastest speed.
Third: make sure the interference is not coming in through the InterLink connection by disconnecting the 957 from the InterLink.
Fourth: Make sure that the adapter cable connection for the US2 is tight and check the in-line fuse in the trolling motor to make sure it has not blown.
Fifth: call Humminbird at 1-800-633-1468.

If your checking interference get a 5 gal bucket of water,take prop off motor put the motor in the bucket of water and run it. You need the water to keep motor and electronics cool.
He needs to have the whole boat in the water to test for the interference.
