Attachment 118494 Perch that is. I have them in the live well of my boat. I plan on jugging with them this week on Dardanelle. What do you guys do to store your baitfish? I thought about getting an aquarium at a yard sale if I can and use it for baitfish...wasn't sure how hard they would be to keep alive. Is there another option I'm not considering? Thanks in advance for any advice you may have!
I used to use a big cooler, air compressor with air stone, and I got some "Blue Stuff" from the bait store.
Had a friend that used a 55gal drum.. No air.
I have a floating cage.. Rabbit cage with noodles. Works good in the neighbors pond.
Get a food grade plastic barrel cut off top and use well water or pond water. I have a air pump with stones bought at Academy Sports. If it is warm add a frozen jug of water to keep temps down. Good luck , hope ya catch a monster. Oh yea please post a photo if you do.:cheers2
Both great ideas I honestly figured you two would have some good suggestions. I may look into a floating cage as my neighbors pond is where I catch these anyway. Also I'll have to get some air stones from academy. Thanks
