Me and a buddy fished a canal leading into NWR this afternoon for a couple of hours while the wife was at church teaching her Awana's class. I didn't have time to take the boat today but did end up catching 8 and my buddy 1. No size to any of them and we caught them all on minnows. He tried several types of jigs with no luck all they wanted were minnows.
Thanks for the report. I've got a little ditch simaliar to that that has some big red eyes in it, ever try small craw dad jigs?
Looks like one of my buddies from high school. His name isn't Kenny is it?
PP, I will try those small crawdad jigs next time out I have a few in a couple of different colors.
