Lake Nimrod

Anybody catching any fish on Nimrod ? I'm guessing the lake is up a little.

Got a report today of a couple limits caught yesterday with several 1 lbrs in the mix , also said they fished Friday and only caught 8

I found some below the dam fishing slack water

Not heard any good reports. Porter Creek fishermen catching dinks mostly.

Ain't that always the case at Porter Creek? We've caught some good ones in there the past few years but they are few and far between.

For your sake it would be adviseable to search out a better lake. Water is rising fast over here.

Thanks Nimrod, I've been watch water level reports. Last check shows it to be 9ft. above full pool. Guess I'll stay home and fish Ouachita.
