You're good down to the 79 bridge there at Paris Landing. Everything from the 68 bridge to the 79 bridge is reciprocal water except Blood River which requires a Kentucky license.
I'm buying a KY license. How far south can I go?
The Ned McWherter Highway 79 Bridge at Paris Landing, Tennessee.
Folks, know your regs before you get here.
Legal waters, size and creel limits, required boat equipment, etc. I watched the CO's write the entire ticket book out to one boat today. I also watched guys throwing crappie in their livewell that were smaller than bluegill that I would keep. "I didn't know" is not an excuse.
Pick up a free copy of the KY fishing and boating regulations at any license retailer and commit it to memory or read it for free here: Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources - 2013-14 Fishing and Boating Guide
I would also check on the bays located directly across from blood river. My understanding is you cannot enter on ky license, just shoreline up and down that area!!! Still not 100% on that.
The only place that is not reciprocal between the 68/80 bridge and the 79 bridge is Blood River. Everything else is fair game.
