The HB AS GRP which I can get for $115 or the HB AS GPS HS that I could get for $150. I know I'm sounding cheap over $35 but I just dropped $150 on a transducer and hate to get all this money tied up into a unit that I am not in love with. If you guys have any info or experiences please share. If you don't wanna type it, call me 662-588-0996.

That is the correct one. Just did a little research and answered my own question. What is the difference in the 50 channel and 16 channel other than the obvious more channels? Easier to pick up signal? again I have no idea on this stuff, trying to learn as I go
Easier to pick up signal and is more accurate. Keeps you closer to your spot
Thanks a ton. Finally figured out what to look for. Something about 16 channel can only lock on to 16 sats in orbit, vs 25-30 that are actually up there. The 50 will allow me to find more, more quickly, and be more accurate. I know 300% more about it now than I did this morning. Thanks for the input! Found one for $112 I'm gonna get next week.

Sammy,bettr check and make sure unit will take the 4000 and is NMEA 2000 comatable. You aint got no "plug and play" huminbird!!
Mo, you might want to look on the electronics site. I can't remember which one for sure. There is a discussion on the new HS antenna vs the other ones. Some pretty good info.
