I am pretty sure I am going to buy a Lowarance Elite 7 HDI. My question is will I get a good picture on DI if I mount the transducer on the trolling motor? I can mount on an old hand held trolling motor that doesn't work. This will prevent side to side movement and picture blurring, or is this a big deal. You guys with DI can provide needed input . Thanks for any comments.
It will work just fine. That is where mine is mounted.

Sorry bout that, he was wondering how to mount the skimmer transducer to the TM. Is there a different transducer you can purchase for it?
