Does anyone tie a weighted San Juan worm?

I've watched a few videos of San Juan worms being tied on a fly hook and was wondering if anyone here has tied one on a weighted hook. If so, would it be possible to post a pic or two? I know this is not the ideal tie for crappie, but would like to make up a few to just play around with when the crappie and bream are biting good and to also try in the mountains for trout with a spinning rod.

Wrap wire around the hook for weight.

I tie San Juan worms with a bead in the center of the worm. How much weight are you looking for? Most of mine are tied on size 14 or 12 kahle hooks.

Same here, don't want to much weight.

Seems like you could easily wrap the shank with lead wire, but you'd need to tie it on a jig to be able to throw it with a spinning rod unless you're doing a float/fly thing.
