I like beaver lake. Caught fish off north end of island and the creek channel just east of the island. Look for paved road bed that runs down the hill into the water. There is a collapsed concrete bridge in about 12 ft of water. Good place to start with.

Beaver lake....north of Fulton
I hope that's the beaver lake he was talking about. I know the city of Fulton is sponsoring a crappie tourney later in March.

Actually wanting to know about the water from fulton to amory . Thinking about trying it this spring .went to beaver lake last yr.
A lot of folks fish the Smithville area....I dont like it water is too shallow and stumpy for my boat.....yours might be OK in it but be careful or you will tear a lower unit or prop up in a heatbeat. And the fish are small also. Just go to Sardis....its close and the fish are good.
yeah, by the time you drive to smithville you can be at sardis . westpoint the same . keep your ears open for a non-tournament partner from our area .
I fish the Smithville area a few times a yr. Like G said the crappie run really small and the stumps are numerous. I have better luck on bigger crappie from Aberdeen and further south on the Tenn-Tom.
You mentioned West Point, where you fishing there?
I meant to say , I have some friends who fish the Beaver Lake in Amory and do quite well there. I havent put in there in yrs.
I have never fished there but I hear a lot about Blue Bluff
