My name is Layne, originally from Southwest Louisiana now living in Wisconsin. Slowly making the transition from Salt Water fishing to Fresh and chomping at the bit to get the boat out. Looking forward to learning the tricks to fishing in the Midwest, and hopefully before years end maybe be able to help others.

Welcome from another SW Louisiana guy. Which part of the SW did you live in? I am from Lake Charles.
Sulphur, well actually Carlyss. Have been in Wisconsin a few years and finally trying to get back into fishing. Parents have a camp in Hackberry at Dugas Landing, which I try to get back at least once a year. Never really fished fresh water even when I lived there. There is a lot more to fishing Fresh water than putting a shrimp on a hook and waiting.
