Sonar Mounts????

Seeking opinoins. I have the Johnny Ray mount on my boat. Should I replace with the Ram Heavy Duty Mount? Are they stronger , offer better stability,or do they have their drawbacks.Thinking of getting a Elite 7 HDI and may need more support. I have HDS 7 Gen 2 on it right now. Thanks for any of your comments.

If it works with the HDS 7 and your happy with it I wouldn't change. The Elite 7 should be about same size and weight.
