troubleshooting

got my boat out today after a new install of a 1198 si and a 80 lb terrova no I*link as of yet lol ...... before I left the house while boat was inside the garage I plugged the loc in and powers up, all is working good GPS lock all strong ..... inside a garage, we get to the lake and do alittle test ride to check and see if transducer will rooster all seems good head to a spot to fish, I check my nav maps only to find I have no GPS lol ok so we get to the first fishn spot I have to move the loc to the TM mount with its own GPS puck all works fine we do this move back and forth from TM to the helm 5 or 6 times each time transom GPS puck wont work TM puck works fine lol So I get home put boat in the garage and check rear puck again only yo get a stronger Lock than I had all day ???

garage is wood, stick built (2x4's) with shingles

anyone got any ideas lol

Sounds like a bad connection in the rear GPS connector...(I have to wiggle my new AS GPS HS antenna connector sometimes to get it to connect)...

You can try bending the pins in the connector slightly...
