Weather report light wind sw-------get up at 7 get in the boat-----its overcast------passed a gew boats in the canal------went across lake beauclaire to lake carlton---getting darker ---darker--------put out 7 rods----troll around-------im the only fool out here i guess------------wind picks up a little heavier than advertised------the nexxt thing i know THE CLOUDS OPENED UP AND ALL THE RAIN WE HAVE NOT HAD IN A YEAR CAME DOWN AT ONCE---HOLY SH-----! GLAD I HAVE THE TOP UP ON THE PONTOON-----------LEAVE THE FRONT-- HEAD TO THE BACK --GRAB TROLLING MOTOR CONTROLS---------WOW!--------WHERE DID THIS COME FROM?---ITS CONTINUES TO POUR AND POUR--------WIND BLOWING IN THE RAIN -----------IM WET NOW AND I LOOK UP JUST AS ANOTHER TYPOON TYPE WIND HIT-----------AND OFF I GO----------THE CANVASS TOP ABOVE WHERE I AM HUDDLED HAS THIS HUGE BULGE OF WATER BAGGING DOWN (ISNT THIS TOP FAIRLY NEW) SOOOOOOOOOO I TAKE MY TRUSTY CANE AND PUSH UP ON IT FROM THE BOTTOM ABOUT THE TIME I GO SAILING BY THIS BASS BOAT GOING ABOUT 30 AND CANT SEE CRAP---SO THE WIND IS PUSHING MY BOAT SO FAST I PASS HIM GOING SIDEWAYS WITH 7 12-14 FT POLES OUT, HOLDING MY CANE IN THE AIR KEEPING THE WATER OFF THE TOP OF THE BOAT.
I WONDER HOW HE TELLS THIS STORY WHEN HE GETS HOME??

I weathered it out No Problem an hour later it cleared a little and started catching fish

Actually, there was no danger, I couldn't have handled quickly even with my broken knee, it was just toooo funny the way it all played out and to pass then guy in the bass boat sideways with 7 poles out and just the wind. As my sail with my cane in the air lol
