Any recommendations on portable fish finders. My Dad's boat only has one fish finder mounted on the console, cannot be seen from the front of the boat. Would like to get something to take and use from the front of his boat and also be able to use it in my canoe.
I have one in the classifieds that works geat just dont use it. Here's a link, screen is clear with no scratches that one pic has alot of glare on it. Works well and runs off of AA batts.

Do you have a preference as to dollar amount spent, screen size, color or B&W display, GPS or not, sonar type(s)?
There are other Fishin’ Buddy units in addition to 110 model that Rees Guide posted about. We also have the PiranhaMax units plus any of the 300, 500 or 700 series units can be made portable.
