Which down-imaging color does everyone prefer? Is there a color that anyone seems to think makes cover and fish stand out a bit more?
I use different colors depending on if its cloudy or not. But if you use the white background you will see everything it picks up. Just something you have to play with through out the day.
Blue works well for me
Blue works for me as well. What I did was lower a double drop shot rig below the transducer. Then I tried the different color pallets, contrast, etc. until I could see it. Still works well in bright sunshine as well as fog.
I have been using the brown, but after reading this post I'm going to look at the blue again!
Blue on Lowrance ,amber on Humminbird to me.
I switch between blue and amber depending on lighting
I'll switch around some when I'm playing around with it, but prefer the blue on my Lowrance stuff.
I use the amber, 99 per cent of the time, I can not see the blue or reds at all, when folks post pictures using the blue nothing about it I can see, so I think it depends on ones eyes as to what color to use. try em all
