We'll be staying on the Northern end of the lake at Buzzard Rock, it's closest to me coming from Louisville. It looks like there's good bays all around that area, I may have to cross the lake and try on the Western side of Barkley. We'll be there for a full week, I can't wait, it's my first time coming down there too!
I would spend one day on Ky. Lake. I think the bluegill are a little better than Barkley. Should be some great fishing that week.
I be down at Eddy creek the last weekend of March for three days fishing for crappie. Our first time there and cant wait.
Did you get your motor situation straightened out Redear?
Been going down every year since 1979 to Ky lake in March and April.Will be going down the same this year and i always cant wait.

Funny you should ask, I just walked in from my pole barn and somehow managed to get the thing started for twenty seconds tonight and then it quit. I was ready to throw in the towel on the old mercury but she came to life tonight for a short twenty or so seconds and then quit. It seems to be a gas problem, my mechanic's coming up here Saturday morning to check it out and I'm sure he'll be happy to hear I at least got it started.
I want it running like a sewing machine before I tear out of here and head for Barkley.

We will be down to the Blood again April 4th. I am always to go. Last year we were a bit late for the crappie spawn but found the redears and bluegills staging and we hd a ball. Hopefully this year we will be better timed for the crappie.
