I want to thank you Crappie.com friends of my father whom I called Pop, for caring for one another. I want you to know that he spoke of this site and his friends here to me for years and years, and I've had the pleasure to meet some of you either on a lake or at the Golden Coral for lunch with Pop on a couple of occasions. On his behalf I want to thank ya'll for your time and memories made together.

Hey Steve. You were absolutely a great friend to Pop and I am grateful as was he. How are you doing and how's your dad?
He was sure nice when I'd talked to him on occasion, and wish time had allowed me to get to know DMann better as I've heard nothing but great things about him from Steve, Cajun Dave, and others. Met you at Hillcrest during visitation. Glad I was able to stop by that evening.

Your "Pop" was one of a kind. I made a few fishing trips with him, but we never really caught a bunch of fish. However, the thing I remember about DMann was the stories that he told while we were fishing. He always could make you laugh no matter how tough the fishing was. I still have the jigs that he tied for me on my 70th birthday party. Hope you and Ms. Amanda are doing fine. If you get into some good fishing drop me a pm.
