Barren or Green, water conditions

My son is out of school tomorrow and wants to go fishing. Has anyone been on Barren or Green recently? Curious how the water looks. Also, what are your thoughts on how the bite will be after the cold front that just passed through.

I went last tuesday and kept twenty-one and threw back about 30-40. Put the boat in at the state ramp and went west about a 100 yards to the high wall, found the channel and spider rigged the edges and ran into schools of them. The water was 46 degrees and was clearing up some from the past time i'd gone. With any luck at all you'll find me there in that same area pushin minnows and sippin coffee again in the morning.
