Have shot two different ones and I love them.

I don't know anything about 1911 except the only time I shoot Waynes Kimber, $1200 gun he told me, about the 4th shot it stove piped. Was down yesterday and he said he could fire it SOMETIME at half cock. He was showing me and it did it once in about a dozen times. As said I know nothing about that gun but when I tried it it never fired at half cock. Not running down Kimber just what happened to me. Only semi-auto I have is a SR9c. thinking about selling it and getting another revolver, found out I just like them better.

Nothing as big as a 45 here.
Hope you get into reloading to save a few bucks on ammo. Some of it or all of it can be done while the big A is parked watching tv.
