Wilhelmina Cove

Everyone seems to be interested in the cove...
We have always had those few folks that come flying up in there on plane,
Or the guy that trolls right through your bobbers, or even the guy that crashes into your boat. "Yes that really happened"

I have labeled my self as: Joe
"Cove Enforcer"

It's probably best if I don't elaborate...
But if you acted in any of the above fashions, and someone "Learned you a Lesson" it was more than likely me.

I am just curious to whom you are...

I just spoke to a friend of mine that was fishing just the other day, when a boat plowed up in there. Everyone just shook their heads. When they left, on plane of course, several folks hollered "Slow Down".
The Hoodlums then told everyone they were #1.

Why must people be so..... Dumb!

Some people think when you have a foot between pole tips it's OK. The in-laws live down there. Carol took a picture a while back when she was visiting. 14 boats in that little hole. It's probably worse at times. I'm glad I've never fished there and wouldn't even be tempted to go if everyone were pulling out limits of 3lbers.

Not taking up for any idiots out there but if someone had to boat pass me while i was fishing i would much rather them pass on full plane rather than quarter throttle bc the latter throws way bigger wake and takes alot longer to calm down...

Good luck, I have been into many, many altercations in the cove and the creek. The creek has been ruined, still plenty of fish there to catch. The crowds have taken the fun out of it. The creek and cove did not used to be that way. It really has gotten worse over the last 3 or 4 years, and continues to get worse with each passing year. I have for the most part quit fishing the cove and creek largely because of what you have experienced. You can talk, holler, scream till you are blue in the face if you want but it does not do any thing but make you blood pressure go up. I have invited people to go to the bank and I have offered to help them get over what ever their problem was. I have made the decision to let the people have the cove and creek, I go fishing to relax and if I am pissed off I can't relax. The creek and cove has been compromised by a few undesirable people that has no manners or courtesy for other people.

Once had a guy cast right into my boat. TWICE!!!

If people will quit bragging about catching them in there it wouldn't be near as bad as it is. Just my thought!
