Truck/boat thefts
something to think about, I as many others carry a camera, or cell with a camera... why am I telling you this,,,, well
I am sitting in my chair south side of the car shed, old pick up truck comes up the drive, driver does not see me straight away... he is looking all around, left, right, head bobbing like a ,,well like a head bobbing.
finally he sees me,,, gets out of his truck and says hello. whats up I say. looking for some blackberry and raspberry vines to pull up and sell.... I tell him I don't have any....... and then I took a picture of his truck and license plate, what you doing mister he ask, well I don't know you and we have lots of strangers about so if something comes up missing or they steal your truck I got a picture of your truck and can give it to the police. he was in my opinion looking to be up to no good, so I took a picture, if we all start doing that , just take a picture of a strange vehicle, around the launch ramp, you know the kind of stuff I am saying, then if someone gets robbed, stolen from or what ever, you can say hey I took a picture of a suspicious truck at bucksaw yesterday, wonder if that was the guy who stole from Beagle.... nothing stole from me just used me as a example...... or do y'all already do that and this was a waste of your time..
a man from willard had his truck broken into few days ago while fishing, and he could not get the license plate. lone truck driving slow around boat ramp, makes me wonder, especially when they do not stop and visit about fishing..

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Great idea. It will work too. I had someone drive by my house last night slow. I'm in the country on a dead end road. Glad I was outside changing the oil in the truck so it looked like someone was around.

Shoot first and ask questions later :)

I really like that idea! I try to always be aware of my surroundings but ya never know what a bad guy looks like.

Might ought to take a pic when you park at boat ramp parking lots too. If your truck comes up hit you have a pic of those parked next to you.
We were having trouble with teens visiting another teen down the road, we're sure he was dealing drugs out of the basement, but parents didn't care. Several of the neighbors got together and and agreed to start lifting our cell phones and taking pictures of every car that pulled up to that house, slowed down, etc. Getting your picture taken is not popular with those doing no good.

Beagle, that one hell of an idea. Be a good idea if eveyone kept a pic of Monty on their camera at all times. Hes got those beady, shifty eyes anyway, looks like he always up to no good. He would be an easy target if we cant catch the real perpetrater.

I do this quite a bit on my duck property, especially when they are on my easement, which we share with the Corp. Gates and everything else won't keep people out if they want in, but they'll think twice about it if they know they are on camera.
Makes me angry.............

A picture will work a lot better than my memory. That is a great idea .... especially since my memory went south and my eyesight is trying to follow. :highfive
