Report for the weekend (out of fear of being called a lurker)

I post on here some when I have something to contribute, I wouldn't consider myself a lurker but I feel like I've been called out so here is my report from Saturday and Sunday post haste lol. Just joking ABH!

Saturday - Arkansas River - Caught fish around the 23 ft mark in and around brush almost directly on bottom. Caught them casting a roadrunner and vertical jigging. Didn't catch big numbers but all were big fish. Blue and white and red and chartreuse were the colors. Marked a lot of fish in several spots but couldn't get them to bite, I caught all my fish off the last brush I fished for the day. Water temp was 42

Sunday - Arkansas River - Got a late start, went to a spot I wanted to fish Saturday two boats were there all day. Marked structure and fish immediately from 20ft out to 28ft, tried pushing jigs, throwing roadrunners and vert jigging even tried the ole slip bobber technique. Got bit twice, tried to more spots same story. Tried the brush pile from Saturday, still fish on it but got bit one time. Water temp 44

I checked many spots Saturday and Sunday and never found fish or baitfish in water shallower than 20ft.

If anyone ever wants info from me pm me and I'll be glad to share very specific details but I expect the same in return, quid pro quot.

On a personal side note, I would rather someone not post a report at all if its not 100 percent what occurred, I know that some people post some mostly accurate reports and edit out a few details or change them like depth, area etc to throw people off.....if you don't want people to know don't post.

The post would have really been effective if only you'e posted a photo. You know how them fishermen can be sometimes. We kinda spoil each other here.

Lol good report. The lurker status has been removed temporarily. Now I need to go fishing to get mine removed.

Many thanks, If you ever see me post a report, its the truth. No since in fibbin about where fish were and how you caught them. Just like it happend to you, them fishies may not be there the next time anyway, but people do fib a bit........

Good post, uaagr. That's the kind of report that is very helpful and useful because it furnished information that can be used without anyone being in your fishing hole tomorrow when you get there. You don't have to give coordinates to give a good, useful, helpful report. Thanks, man! :ThumbsUp

Thanks for the report! If I ever get away from this MS river in NEA and come down that way I will hollar.I will have to add some line to my reel to fish that deep.:Rofl
