Back in slabville
The arctic blast got us back on some virgin waters, but it may only be for a short time. No true slabs tonight, but a few around the 16" mark. Same deal as a few years ago, find um roaming the basin and tease um up to bite. Spoons were the hot item tonight, but meat accounted for the slob of the evening.
Sorry about the rotate, the photobucket editing stuff seems to be on the fritz tonight.

Well, that was it for this season, only got on there that one night. It had just frozen to the point we would call sketchy at best , then the next night it rained and got warm. Never really refroze and the blizzard put an end to it. Hopefully next year as we do not spend much time chasing these slabs in open water, to many other fish to chase around here.
I hope to put up some perch post in that section of the board soon. Hope everyone had a good ice season.
