Hey ya'll
Kinda new here. Been fishin since I could walk with Dad(best cappie fisherman there was in Lonoke Co.)When I figure out how I'll post pics. of my trio on the wall-3 lb 1 oz, 3lb 2 oz, and a 3lb 9 oz. All caught right around Carlisle. Looking forward to getting to know some other "good" crappie fisherpeople. Always eager to hear bout something new and interesting stories from around "GOD'S country" Be talkin to ya'll, Mike

Welcome aboard, Mike. I'd like to see the pic of those slabs. Did they all come out of Peckerwood? I've driven past the outskirts of it many times, and I always wanted a better look at it. I mainly stick to the river around here, but am starting to branch out to different techniques (thanks to some folks on this site). I have picked up some good tips on this site, and hopefully so will you. CEB -

Welcome aboard Mike. There's a lot of nice folks on the board here and there's always something to learn. Like CEB I fish mostly the Little Maumelle River (convenience...five minutes from home). Trying to learn the Arkansas River. Catching a mess of crappie still eludes me more often than not, but I've turned my wife into a fan also so we're always on the search and make excursions here there on a whim. Fish for bluegill also...usually Lake Conway but now that they've lowered it for a few months not sure I can launch my boat. We also trout fish at the Little Red once a month or so.
Welcome and enjoy.
