Well i am gonna send in my hds 10 to get her repaired. One of the soft keys went out on it. I am gonna upgrade to the 12 for just a little money though. So happy about the 12 but sad to be wothout it in the mean time. At least the fishing here isnt good right now. It will make dropping crappie condos a little tougher but i think the wait will be worth it and it comes at a good time.

Bummer! :banghead But it could have gone out with 60 degree temps and perfect fishing conditions! The bright side is you wind up with a better piece of equipment.
Shouldn't keep you from catching fish J.W. I like playing with those toys as much as anybody but I try not to get so dependent on them that they become a crutch. It don't hurt to fish "barefoot" from time to time, LOL!!!
You know I hear Hummingbird got some sales going on J.W>...I'll bet it last ya more than a year before you haft to send in for a repair. BAWHAHAHAHA!!!!
Lmbo my humminbird 597 lasted less time before i had to send it back.

Goin on 4 yrs for my HB 997.....it has taken a lickin'...and still tickin', LOL!! I been thinkin bout upgrading myself J.W. I'm wanting the 360 imaging to see what's up ahead.....tired of looking at already fished water. If I were you I would forget the hds and let me make you a deal on my humminbird....it's prob gonna take Lowrance a few years to catch up anyway...Bwahahahahaha!!!!!
That 360 would be nice steve but after owning a hb i will stick with lowrance he he he
