Speaking of Vietnam Vets
I wanted to share these with you all. My Uncle Larry (Decker) was in Vietnam from Feb 1968 - March 1969, mostly in Chu Lai, I think. When we visited over Christmas, he showed us pictures and medals that I've never seen before. Like so many other vets, he's had PTSD for years and didn't realize it. He's talked more about it in the past several months. I wanted to share some pics because I'm proud and thankful for his service as well as all of the vets on here. I've told him about the camps and all the stories that get told around campfires and mason jars and I'm hoping to get him down here at least once for a Sippi camp.
