Rosenbaum Lake?
Anyone that's crossed the 430N bridge going to NLR/Maumelle has prob seen the cypress-studded lake on the northeast side of the bridge. According to Google Earth, it's called Rosenbaum Lake. Anyone know if it's fishable?
I pulled to the back of some businesses on Crystal Hill Rd, but access to the lake from there was blazed purple and posted private. I've seen plenty of people parked on the side of 430S bank fishing, though. Would be a fun little place to toss the kayak, but I'm not out to break any laws.

Welcome to site.
It been posted for long time. And I have never seen anyone fishing it myself. About 15 year ago I know a guy that did go on there and he never told me what happen there. He always told me it was not pretty when he got out of the lake. But it look like a good place to fish

I fished it years and years ago and didn't do any good on it.

It's real shallow and the water is real clear. Slid a 12ft alum. down the bank and wore out the big ole black crappie a couple weekends in a row years ago on some yo's when it was bitter cold out.

Last year, AGFC was writing folks tickets for duck hunting there. I'm not sure about fishing access. I would think if you could find a way in from the river, they can't say anything as long as you don't get off the boat.

It's owned by Gene Phifer got to fish there once before he posted it caught a couple. He posted it after the army Coe denied his permit to put in a marina with a channel dredged in from the river. Would be nice if he would open it back up
