I'm hearing a lot of posts at the other forums discussing this scroll speed issue with the new updates...
As of yet...it seems it may be tied to the 360 parts of the upgrade...but no one is for sure yet...
You might think about reverting back to your previous version of software ...especially if you're not interested in the 360 stuff....
Also, your 2nd question... Snapshots and recordings are never saved to the unit memory...snapshots and recordings write directly to the SD card....

Yeah the chart speed is fast in 998..... but i took my mapping ccard and sd card out before i restored defaults .... they were not in he 788 when i updatedQuote:
