Another scrap material build.

Figured if I was going to drop structure this weekend, I might as well drop two. Here's a build from tree pot containers that were laying around. Dimensions wound up being 8ft x 18 in and will be hung under another dock . Very light weight to deal with and has about 20lbs of concrete to keep it down. All the pieces are zip tied together and turned out pretty good. Cant wait to see what it may hold in the future. Happy fishing and thanks for looking.

Please keep us informed on how these work out for you...our lake has floating docks that are in 16-17 fow that could benefit from something like them! The thermocline sets up in our Marina at about 10 feet and this would help keep some of the Big fish from moving out into the Main Lake!

Anyone know how zip ties hold up? My experience is they are pretty weak over time and cold weather/water does not help.

Zip ties should last if out of the sunlight.

I built something similar, but stuck bamboo and other long branches horizontally through the holes. It extended the area size impacted by it's presence. Hardwood lasts up to 30 years under water. Should be plenty of limbs form the recent snow storm.
