No thanks Bama. That little girl wasn't but about 18 I'd guess (if that old), and them 2 little kids were about 3 & 5, and I'd have put the moms age at too old to be them little ones mother (but could very well be wrong, could have all been brother and sisters), so I don't know if they belonged to that little girl or not. Kind of shocked me when she'd told me they were "living" in that trailer when I asked if they lived close to the campground, because they may need to go "home" since they didn't have any power (hence no heat), and she said that was home.
I couldn't believe she had them kids out last night, barefoot, not even socks, and she was in stockin' feet herself. That little boy kept saying his feet hurt, I told her they needed to be inside not out in the cold. I can see people going through hard times, but ain't no reason for dragging kids around barefoot in the cold, and living in a mess. Not having much don't mean you can't keep it clean. I asked her if the stove worked (for some heat), said she didn't know, and it was piled with junk, so I doubt it did. Makes me wonder how they cooked? Part that got me was they didn't seem to have anything, but there was plenty of empty wine cooler bottles laying around.
