Never tried that brand. Have tried several brands and still use a few, but Pro-Tec is best powder paint because it fluffs better than any other I have tried.
But is this the same stuff , but just a different brand? What about the sparkle/glitter what is it. Do you just mix it into paint before putting on jig.
Some people put some in their paint to get some effect different than what I do, but I put that on after I paint the head. I use clear with glitter in to dip in right after I dip in color paint. I understand it's suppose to be the same thing, bit Pro-Tec is different than say even Columbia which has tons of colors of powder paint. I don't know what Pro-Tec does different, but theirs is better and easier to keep fluffed well for painting.
That is not the same stuff for powder coating lures that is tempera paint it is mixed with water and used for crafts.
Ok that what I was not sure of. Thanks Fliesforall.
I know you'll have said the pro-tec was the best. But had run into this today and did not know.
I have never seen that stuff so really couldn't comment on if it would do or not. Columbia has a lot of colors and it works, but is hard for me to get it to fluff right even in a fluid bed. I do use some though as some colors Pro-Tec just doesn't have and if Pro-Tec has the color I usually buy theirs, but I buy it by the pound which is pretty high cost.
