Been meaning to ask, keep forgetting....
I'd bought the tools, and rock (Obsidian) a couple years ago to learn how to do it, bought a DVD as well, and watched lots of YT Videos, but would like to find someone with some experience at it to watch them do it. I'm not wanting to turn $50 of rock into a pile of dust :Rofl
Anyone do it, or know someone who does?
I haven't done it since I was a scout.
One of the many sub boards on The Georgia Outdoor Network Forum is primitve skills. You can see some beautiful knapping there. Be careful as Obsidian is 700 times sharper then surgical steel.
