Lowrance Elite 7 HDI

What's your guys opinions on this unit ?

What little I have been able to read so far says I'm going to buy one. It looks like they took a page from bird and made them simpler to use. Then it has the clarity of the HDS units. Also looks like if you wanted to expand it is comparable with the Lss module.

Yea. I just want one for the front of my boat. Looks like a good unit from what I can see

I'm pretty sure I read the Elite 7 HDI will not be Ethernet compatable...so no sharing of sonar...

I think it is NMEA compatable to be able to share waypoint data...
