It is east of tar camp or west of england. You might be able to look up on game and fish website for map and boat ramps. There are 2 ramps i know of.

Ok thanks. You know if there any fish in it ?
A lady I work with and her husband used to fish it a lot...until they bought a house up close to Nimrod...they caught fish spider rigging.....I used to bass fish it from time to time....be sure and not have a lot of stuff in your truck for vandals to see....my partner had his truck broke into there a few years back.
Gin i havent fished it but have threatened too. I fished clear lake which is close to plum bayou and done fair. Hensely lake is close and i have done fair there also.

GinDog, take hwy 161 south at Scott, drive by Cotham's Mercantile. There iwll be a sign for Plum Bayou access about 10-15 miles past Cotham's. When the Hwy make a sharp left turn, its about a mile or 2 past that. Then about 1 mile past Plum Bayou bridge is Clear lake, then about 5 more miles and you are in England at the light by the Red Swamp eatery.
i have caught a bunch out off there jig pole fishing, but it has been a few years back . no slabs just good eating size fish 11-13 in. but never fished in the winter!!!! i use to go late sping early summer . it get gets muddy and gets covered with duck weed bad . i would make that long drive and it would be unfishble is the reason i quite going !!!!!
For what its worth....buddy of mine told me this morning that they are back filling from the Arkansas River into Plum Bayou....he and a friend had been talking about going this week...but Christmas decorations for the wife got in the way......Merry Christmas to all!
I have no clue what it would do to the fishing...
