It has to be Lake Degray if its in Arkadelphia. The only thing I know about the lake is how to get arround on it. I dont remember there ever being a post on the Arkansas board about somone fishing Degray. Hope some sound out for you but if they dont you can do some searches for info on the lake.
Hey Mighty:
Gooch is right - DeGray is the closest lake to Arkadelphia. I used to have some brushpiles there but haven't fished it for years other than a scouting trip on the upper end a couple weeks ago when we caught five keepers on a brushpile we found.
Lake Greeson is about 45-minutes from Arkadlephia and we have about 250 brushpiles there so if you're willing to drive a ways I can give you some waypoints you can try. They have been a bit slow out there the last couple weeks but we're still catching some good ones.
These were the keepers from this morning after a cold front moved through last night:
We got these on the morning of the 4th:
These last Thursday:
And this mess on June 19th:
So you can see there are some crappie in Lake Greeson to be caught.
Hey Jerry,
I will not be in a boat so I guess I couldn't use waypoints:( . However I would like to know how much you charge. Maybe some folks in my family would like to go out. I will be in littlerock on from this thurs-sunday.
Either which way thanx for the info I may just fish for brim with the kids.
Hey Mighty:
Details on my services and fees are on the main page of my website - www.actionfishingtrips.com - if you want to check them out.
The bream should be bedding up in the backs of coves right now so you should be able to get some on crickets if you can find a place to fish from the bank.
I have some openings in the next few days if you decide you want to go after some crappie. We've been catching some nice hybrids and a few walleye on Hamilton lately too.
