Gps Guru Info!
I bought a Elite- 5 a while back and I need some advise on what map card is the best from you guru's.Navionics, Insight, Or Fishing Hot spots!I don't know a durn thing about this subject! Can you believe it???:donoI have been looking around the internet for map cards but I know I can get the best advise from here!So let me have it!!

Why you say that Wb?Do they make a card that covers all the southern lakes?

need to make sure your home lake or lakes you fish the most are on the upgrade card, some lakes are not included for whatever reason.

I like the Navionics Platinum. 1' contours, and 3d with aerial if your graph is capable. Buy the premium if your graph won't do 3d. You still get 1' contours, and the tight contours help you locate ledges and drop offs better. My built in insight doesn't give ya 1' contours, but it shows some different stuff on certain lakes.

That's when I switch to Insight, but where Navionics does cover, it's superior. They do need to update their coverage tho. They did their surveys when the water was to low.
