Finally decided to step out of the shadows
After many weeks of procrastinating, I decided to introduce myself. My name is Jimmy from Alabama, North Alabama more specifically. After a 20-plus year absence from fishing, I got the bug again. Mostly fish Guntersville, since that is the only place my grandfather would go and man have things changed. Before fishing was a cricket for bream at the honey hole and a minnow for crappie and that was it, now lures abound and all the new fishing techniques. I feel like I have been locked in a time capsule for 20 years and just awakened to a completely new world. I have been trying to read all the information in the forum, but with what spare time I have it is tough. But I will enjoy continuing to learn. And I will go ahead and say a big thanks to the members that have posted information on here for all to read, it has been most helpful.
