Your Take on Orange ?
Spent a lot of time the last few years fishing versions of orange...Got several friends that swear by flo orange, bright orange and the like, but at least in my waters or maybe my lack of confidence in it,Ive not had alot of luck...
I have however become a big fan of some hints of it, and some paler ginger and rootbeer variations of it...Some of my more productive colors with a flare of orange..Who fishes the orange ????

A blaze orange head with green chart. body is killer for me. I use it with kiptails and marabou jigs. Also the new age chenille called fire tiger is getting raves from people, I have tied a few with it and it has orange and yellow in it, and they did a great job on that color. Also I know a guy that swears by orange and yellow combo when the water is stained, this guy is the most successful crappie fisherman I know personally.

THose are great looking ties Rad. Sorry, don't use enough orange to comment.

I use a Orange jig head about 90% of the time. A lot of guys use Orange/Chartruse here on Truman in the dirty water.

In stained water I have done great with Flame Red/Black & FL Yellow body/Hot Orange marabou tail. Here is a link to the color combo, but I mostly have use it on a Roadrunner.
I know the body looks like Fl Chart and Black, but this is what happens when you mix Black & FL Yellow.

I'm new to tying. I've fished my gnats twice. Orange and chartreuse has been the best. Pink and chartreuse comes in second

Never go without orange of some sort. Miss. Delta waters are never clear enough to use anything else.

Big fan here of ORANGE! I fish mainly in the Atchafalaya Basin and on days when the water is more stained than usual, the wind moving the water pretty good, that orange color, esp. orange/orange/chart. jig can be deadly. I use that color up at Larto Lake, too. The bigger fish really like it...BC P.S. Really liked your jigs.....good fishing
