What is the best airated minnow bucket ?
5 gal. bucket, styrofoam insert, frabill bucket lid and a hush bubbles aerator for me. Some guys are using the 5 gallon water coolers but you can't use a lid with those.
This is my setup G. Have a 12 volt dual line aerator mounted under the rod box. Cannot even tell its running. Have it hooked to toggle switch, ran the line through the little console up front. When not in use I just push the line back in the hole and its out of site.

Can easily keep 1 or more pound of minners alive for days. Ran both the lines off the areator into one line. Got this bucket at BPS.

i have a frabill 6gal insulated bucket i use to keep extra's in .i have a 12v cool bubble pump . up front i use a 3 1/2 gal insulated bucket also with a 12v cool bubbles pump. if you want to use a 5gal water cooler they work great also you can get a kit that fits in the spicket !!! you can also drill a small hole thur the lid to put the air hose thur so you can put the lid on the cooler!!!
Thats the same pump I have Speck. Been in the boat for about 3 years and not bit of trouble and mine runs alot. When I come home and have minnows left over I just leave it running for days on end.
5gal bucket like Feelay with the dual live well aerator like GDG run big bucket in back and small frabill at left elbow. Like Sammy said real quiet mine is mounted on the gunnel next to my steering stick and don't even notice it. Also have a jumper rigged in back and can run live well and minnow bucket off one side of pump with no problem just in stalled small aquarium valve with T to adjust flow to bucket.
Use my back livewell for number, thing is deep and a pain to get fish out of. Just use a small bucket up front and reload as needed. Usually have 15 gallons or so of water in it so keeping a bunch alive has not been a prob. 110 aquarium pump plumbed in and a small converter from 12v and it will run from now on.

I agree on the 5 gallon bucket and 12v dual line pump. My bucket was a dove bucket with the styrofoam liner. Added the snap on bucket top with the flip up lid. I use a 2 gallon insulated Frabill up front while fishing and leave 5 gallon by passenger seat. Just add a scoop of minners as needed. One line from pump is run to the livewell for tournaments and I tap into it with a O2 bottle. No more D cell batteries. Love it. Also while at home I use a regular aquarium pump (about $7) to the bucket.
