597 HD di?

I have a maxum trolling motor where should I mount the transducer? I am wanting it in front of the boat.

have seen pics of several people mounting it on the TM but you may/will get some distortion in the picture when you move the TM to control the boat. Try it and see how it works for you, thats the important thing.

Here's a DI ducer on a MotorGuide Tour. Should fit fine on the Maxxum too. Very little distortion with the Di transducers and you can get a decent image just under 1 mph.
